The 2021 BFI Academy opportunity for young people interested in going into the film industry is coming to Suffolk schools and colleges!
Students aged 16-19 can apply to join online (via zoom) in the February half term 13th – 19th Feb. The course is £25 and students will make a short film and work towards an Arts Award.
Applications close on 3rd February 2021.

One Sixth Form College offers post-16 courses and progression for students with SEND and complex medical needs within out Foundation Learning area. They take students from both the local special schools as well as students with an EHCP from the local high schools who may not get the entry requirements to enter Level 2 qualifications in Sixth Form or College.

Careerometer can be used to explore and compare key information about occupations, help you learn about different occupations and identify potential careers.
It provides access to a selection of UK headline data relating to pay, weekly hours of work and future employment prospects for different occupations, as well as description of the occupation.
Simply type in the title of the job you are interested in and the widget provides a series of options from which you can select the most relevant to you. You can then look up another two occupations and compare. You can also select ‘display the UK average’ and compare the information with the occupation you have selected.
